PPDO DESCRIPTION
The Philanthropic Planning Development Office (PDO) is a network (ecosystem) of interconnecting and interacting parts supporting the MLILC HOPE PROJECT. We aim to create a long term financially sustainable ministry by professionalizing donor– recipient relationship.

A NOTE FOR CHRISTIANS:
-
In the New Testament Greek, “philos” is one of several words for love. The Greek word “Anthropos”=man/mankind, i.e. all people.
-
Galatians 6:10 - Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
-
Philanthropy is the secular word for a Christian virtue related to the Divine establishment principle of “loving your neighbor.” (Mark 12:30-31)
-
Galatians 6:2-Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
The MISSION of the MLILC H.O.P.E. PROJECT is to impact families and make a positive difference in our community. If this to happen, it is truly essential that the PDO office be structured in order to bring about awareness of its vision – mission.
THE PDO-MISSION AIMS…
1. To establish a continuing, systematic, and long-term program for generating funds that will be used solely for the development of the institution and its global mission.
2. To organize and establish a community-based fund raising program to tap sources of funds from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other sources in the institution’s areas of influence.
3. To develop strong voluntary support programs to support the institution financially and to make it more a part of its community.
4. To provide opportunities for people, foundations and organizations to participate in the joy of giving and sharing.
5. To consolidate all funding efforts in order to ensure a professional relationship with donors thus preventing donor fatigue.
